“Argentina 1985” recounts the history of the legal proceedings of the military juntas that governed Argentina between the 1976 coup and the return of democracy in 1983. Five high-ranking military officers were convicted of crimes against humanity, among them Videla and Massera, who were sentenced to life imprisonment.

The promoters who came up ahead of the case were Júlio Strassera (played by Ricardo Darín) and a group of young promoters, whose leader was Luis Moreno Ocampo, a role in charge of Peter Lanzani.

The singer, composer and percussionist Karyna Gomes, born in Bissau in 1976, and now living in Torres Vedras, north of Lisbon, will show music from her two albums – “Mindjer” (2014) and “N'Na” (2021) –, in Guinean Creole, a language derived from Portuguese, accompanied by a band created specifically for this show, made up mostly of women.

Many movies have been made with police officers, some as conventional as the ones Stallone has shot or as interesting as the ones starred in Clint Eastwood as Dirty Harry, but New York has also been the setting for such well-known titles as Apache District: the Bronx ( 1981), by Daniel Petrie, where Paul Newman and Edward Asner shared the lead, in an interesting film about the difficulties of the New York police, but there are shocking ones, almost scatological, like the one starring Al Pacino under the command of William Friedkin On the hunt (1980), a film where the policeman enters the dynamics of the homosexual world, to discover a murderer of gays, an objective that will gradually transform the policeman into another man, a being transformed by the world he has known, in the famous final scene when his girl, Karen Allen, calls him and he already knows that it is not the same man, but a very different one, something has changed in his sexuality.

One of the filmmakers who has left a poetic mark on the cinema the most was Truffaut, a director who imbued the images of his films with a declared love of life. In La chambre verte (The Green Room) (1978), the French filmmaker pays homage to a great director who had just passed away, Roberto Rossellini, whose light is impregnated in Truffaut's gaze, that way of contemplating the characters, of to love them, to understand them.

The action takes place in the twenties of the last century in a small city in the East of France, there is still the trace of a First World War where thousands of dead who suffered and were defeated in the fight seem to return. We can remember seeing the relationship between Julien and the child that supported The Little Savage, another film by Truffaut, with an educational desire, which focuses on the teachings of Rousseau.
