Karyna Gomes – Africa, Latin America and Europe

The Sesc Quitandinha Cultural Center, in Petrópolis, within the free cultural program that accompanies "An ocean to wash the hands", inaugural exhibition of the institution, tem or prize to invite for the show "Karyna Gomes - Africa, Latin America and Europe", on July 8, 2023, at 18:XNUMX p.m.

The singer, composer and percussionist Karyna Gomes, born in Bissau in 1976, and now living in Torres Vedras, north of Lisbon, will show music from her two albums – “Mindjer” (2014) and “N'Na” (2021) –, in Guinean Creole, a language derived from Portuguese, accompanied by a band created specifically for this show, made up mostly of women.
