The Alicante Film Festival, which was held from May 21 to 28, presents in Madrid, from June 7 to July 13, the exhibition "Festival Views" at the TAI University School of Arts. During the presentation ceremony, the winning short films of its latest edition were screened, with the presence of directors Adán Pichardo and Álvaro Robles.

The Alicante Film Festival began its journey in 2004 and since its inception it has awarded the "Honor Award", "Lucentum" and "City of Alicante" awards to filmmakers and actors, either for the work carried out in recent years, or for his extensive professional career. In this 2022 the Alicante Festival has celebrated its 19th anniversary and with this exhibition it wants to pay tribute to Spanish cinema, showing the most personal side of some of the artists who have been awarded the Silver Tile at the contest. 
 
"Festival Looks" is a photographic series by Cristina Mariscal with 20 unpublished portraits that offer a different and natural vision of the honorees at the Alicante Festival for which, in addition to those shown in the exhibition, they have also passed a wide representation of Spanish and international cinematography.

Directors like Bigas Luna, Álex de la Iglesia, Fernando Colomo, Isabel Coixet, Imanol Uribe, actors and actresses like José Coronado, Imanol Arias, Gabino Diego, Mario Casas, Belén Rueda, Emilio Gutiérrez Cava, Terele Pávez, Concha Velasco, Fernando Guillén Cuervo, Ángela Molina, and, a long etcetera.

During the presentation, the winning short films of the last edition were also screened. The best LGTBI short film "Cristiano" by Adán Pichardo, the best animation short film "Umbrellas" by José Prats and Álvaro Robles, the best international short film "Por larazon o laforce" by Giarella Araya and the best Spanish fiction short film " Non grata” by Alba Lozano.

The event was attended by the director of the Vicente Seva Festival, who took stock of the last edition, and the directors of the short films Adán Pichardo and Álvaro Robles.
